Who is Mike Bouma?

Local Involvement

As second generation realtor born and raised in Durham region I have been involved in many different aspects of the community, from participating in local football, softball and soccer teams, graduating from O'Neill CVI in Oshawa, earning my Bachelor of Arts at the University of Toronto Scarborough Campus while working as a summer student at General Motors, to recently raising over $8000 for The Refuge, a local charity supporting homeless and at risk youth. I am rooted in the community.

Education

In addition to my Bachelor of Arts in history and philosophy I've received my real estate license from the Ontario Real Estate Association, completed my two year articling period and constantly involve myself in industry related continuing education having taken courses on everything from Real Estate Ethics to Multiple Offer Scenarios.

Personal

Much of my free time tends to be taken up with travel and thinking about travel. Over the past number of years I've traveled through much of Europe, Trekked to Macchu Picchu in Peru, been on Safari in the Serengeti, went climbing on Mt. Kilimanjaro, seen the Taj Mahal, and even ridden a camel in the Sahara!

Back in Canada you can find me spending time with my family, at the gym, or out Cheering for Toronto FC.
